Avaloq

Turning up the volume for a financial orchestrator

With decades of experience in the financial industry, Avaloq are a leading provider of wealth management software and services – offering some of the best technology, expertise and service in the market. They came to Winkreative with a question: how can Avaloq use their brand to reflect the quality and reliability of their offer, and cement their status as industry leaders?

Elevating the Avaloq brand wasn’t just a visual exercise – it was about helping the organisation to understand and articulate what sets them apart from the competition.

We framed the brand around the idea of ‘expert solutions, with expertise’. It’s a positioning that balances the reliability and intelligence of their software with the expertise of their people and the commitment to clients that is a cornerstone of their company culture – all of which add up to a partner that helps financial organisations navigate an increasingly complex landscape.

Reflecting this positioning through the visual identity we retained elements of the brand that have built equity over time, such as the logo and colour palette, and added new ones – including a column grid and a series of gradients – to create a sophisticated design system that signals a thoughtful and intelligent personality.

Buoyed by a new confidence and sense of clarity, Avaloq have rolled their new brand identity out across their communications – with Winkreative creating animations, iconography and software visualisations, as well as redesigning their website. It’s the sign of a new era for a storied financial orchestrator.

The building blocks of technology

Once we’d finished developing Avaloq’s new visual identity, we were responsible for its first real-world application. The brand’s new website features a modular design that enables Avaloq to express the full scope of their offer – whether through standout statistics, emotive imagery or animation – while ensuring that it’s ready for any future changes.
